Peace space

In addition to affirming the significant role of visual art in aiding viewers' mental health recovery, Peace Space serves as a rallying cry for "mental health preservation" for everyone amidst the emerging societal issue of psychological distress in the era of 4.0

The project comprises 26 hand-drawn artworks on canvas, aimed at providing viewers with moments of profound introspection. These artworks revolve around reinterpreting moments perceived as peaceful or invoking peace through various forms and seemingly simple yet deeply soothing events.

Living in the 21st century, where societal development evolves daily, and as an early Gen Z, I, like many other young people, inevitably confront psychological turbulence. The prevalent use of the hashtag #healing in recent years signals a storm of psychological distress or a mental health wake-up call. Thus, I resolved to launch an exhibition called "Peace Space" to create a truly meaningful project with a positive impact on the community, especially those facing psychological issues.

Inspired by my own experiences, I hope that those who view the artworks in the collection will remain resilient on their journey of personal growth. And "Living a Life Worth Living" is the overarching message I aim to convey to the audience through this project. Through this project, I also aim to demonstrate the undeniable therapeutic power of art without words.
